Another shot from our trip to Changdeok Palace.

trees, leaves, roofs

Another shot from Changdeok Palace. This one is not from the gardens, but rather the Palace area which is what you see first when you enter the premises. There are some more garden and palace pictures on my flickr page, feel free to take a look! http://www.flickr.com/photos/davedom/

written in stone

writing etched into a rock in a hidden part of the secret garden

This was one of the last stops on the tour. Unfortunately my Korean skills at this point are not good enough to decipher the writing.

leaves changing color in the secret garden behind Changdeok Palace, Seoul, South Korea

We took a tour through the secret garden behind Changdeok Palace. We were told this was the perfect time of the year to see it, and it quickly became apparent why. Everywhere you looked was a scene similar to this one; leaves brilliantly colored in reds, yellows, greens, and golds. One of the most beautiful autumn days I’ve experienced.
