The Koreans have found a great way to ease the burden of moving for those people who live in the countless highrises around Seoul. It’s a simple process…the moving men remove the window of the apartment and transport the furniture, belongings, etc. up or down on a platform attached to something that looks like a conveyor-belt ladder.
Danielle had been witness to this “spectacle” once before. Having heard about it from her, I couldn’t wait to see the “phenomenon” with my own eyes. Finally, the moment arrived! I don’t know if this is a system that people employ back in the States…I’d never heard of it, or seen it in the U.S. I’m sure there are some limitations; but even so, it seems pretty efficient doesn’t it?
